Dr. Tanner HancockDr. Hancock grew up just north of  Wichita in Salina Kansas. He is a second generation chiropractor as his father Rod Hancock has been a practicing chiropractor in Salina for over 30 years.  Dr. Tanner Hancock also has two brothers who currently are practicing chiropractors as well.  During high school Dr. Hancock set numerous state records while playing running back for Salina Central High School. As a senior Dr. Hancock was named Associated Press Kansas Player of the Year, becoming the first running back in Kansas history that competed at 5A or 6A to rush over 2,000 yards in a single season. After graduating high school Dr. Hancock attended KU and played football there for 2 years before finishing his last two seasons at the University of Montana where he played in a national championship in 2000. Shortly after graduation from the University of Montana, Dr. Hancock moved to Dallas, Texas, where he received his doctorate in Chiropractic from the prestigious Parker Chiropractic College. Since graduating from Chiropractic College, Dr. Hancock has lived and practiced in Wichita. Dr. Hancock is married to Dixie Hancock and has two boys Slade(2) and Knox(1), and a step son Gage(15).  From the beginning it has been Dr. Hancock’s mission to help as many people become well without drugs and surgery. Since the start of his practice, Dr. Hancock has become very well know in the health industry and is considered one of the most active chiropractors in Wichita.  Dr. Hancock is also one of the major contributors to the Foundation for Wellness Professional ,which is a non-profit nation wide organization that offers free help and education to those in need.

Dr. Manley Hancock Chiropractic Center welcomes Dr. Michael Manley from Denver, Colorado.  He is a nationally board certified doctor of chiropractic and his certifications include Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and Pregnancy & Pediatrics.  Dr. Manley prefers techniques of manual chiropractic adjusting and similar techniques as Dr. Tanner Hancock.  While in Denver, Dr. Manley also was an Anatomy & Physiology instructor at Front Range Community College.

 

 

Professional 

Dr. Manley graduated with a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the premier Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.  While attending Logan, Dr. Manley had the honor to serve one term as the elected Student Body President and one term as the chapter president of the Student American Chiropractic Association.  Before Chiropractic College, Dr. Manley received a B.S. degree in Kinesiology, Pre-Med from Kansas State University.  While at K-state, Dr. Manley also had the honor to serve one term as an elected Student Senator.  Dr. Manley also attended Missouri State University where he was on scholarship for swimming. He is a long-time member of the Boy Scouts of America where he holds Eagle Scout Rank.

 

Dr. Manley looks forward to meeting all of the patients and providing superb patient care.  His vision to is to bring awareness and education of chiropractic to the Wichita community.  He enjoys seeing people value their health and taking aproactive approach to improving their lives through non-surgical and non-pharmaceutical wellness care.  Dr. Manley is especially interested in educating people through online resources, i.e. facebook, Twitter, health & wellness blogging, and other information media on topics such as nutrition, natural solutions to internal health problems, and sports injuries.

In his time off, Dr. Manley enjoys running, cycling, competing in local triathlons, organic nutrition, and skiing.
